Rima

Rima, it is a girl name, a young girl -10 years to be specific-, I heard that name first time when I saw a post on Facebook asking to pray for her because she is in a comma and she is in a very critical situation, she is suffering infection in blood and spinal that spread to the brain.

Rima is a cancer survivor actually, she was diagnosed with cancer -leukemia- a year ago when she was a 9 years old kid, and she was healed and became a cancer free after a beautiful and courage journey, I went through her Facebook page‘ and found couple of astonishing videos for her on Youtube (A radio interview with Rima, Rima is praying in church) when she talks about her experience with cancer, and I was more than amazed how this young pure child is facing a huge illness like cancer with all that faith and strength, what makes me feel very small beside her, she is talking about her illness in bold and strong sound, she is very aware of what she was facing and she knew that may lead to her death, yet she did not panic as many adults will do, she talks to God when she feels sick and she is so confident after her death -if happened- she will be with Lord, she also so happy that God used her illness and her spiritual-strong family to bring many people near to God. I wish I had half of this little girl faith, strength and courage, I wish I am half way close to God as she is.

Rima today is in pain again, and after she lost her crown -hair- during chemotherapy now she might lose other body functionality because of the brain infection, yet she still says “Amen” while she is in ICU bed and her amazing family are still strong and confident in God.

Rima’s family asks everyone to pray for her, so God show His glory and heal her, but I think we all need Rima to pray for us, we all need Rima’s spirit to face tribulations and illnesses, we all need Rima’s faith and confidence, and we all need Rima’s smile through the life.Rima
